About Me

Hello! My name is Isaiah Blickenstaff, and I am a graduate student at Loyola Marymount University, from which I hope to obtain my Masters of Arts in Philosophy.

My broad research interests include metaphysics, moral philosophy, phenomenology, the philosophy of religion, philosophical anthropology, and the thought of Kant, Wittgenstein, and Heidegger. I am especially interested in exploring the ways in which the human person’s perspectival condition intersects with these fields of study.

"Philosophy is not a theory but an activity.”

— Ludwig Wittgenstein
